26 baby chickens...they are sooo cute and cuddly, we love them so much! Can you believe 26 chicks fit into this small box?!
Jason built a brooder (a small home for chicks) to keep in our kitchen.
Joanna and the boys love peeking in over the box to say "Good Morning!"
Gideon took it upon himself to name them all, needless to say we DO NOT have 26 names, but here is what Gideon has so far:

I just thought they were cute, do you catch all the bible names in there...makes me laugh. Our biblical studies seem to go into all Gideon's play things too...he is always building temples (like Solomon.) It is so cute, I love it!
So we had our chicks in the house for the first couple of weeks, but they grew so fast and they started stinking and making everything dusty, so now they are in a bigger brooder in our small barn. And they have grown so fast, they are not nearly as cute as they were, they are more like small chickens now, but we still love them.
And here are Joanna's 11 month pictures, even though she will be a year next week (WOW!), I thought I would post them anyway because she is so stinkin sweet!
I know this pictures looks posed and cheesy, but they are both smiling and looking so sweet and innocent so I just had to keep it.
